Timber!

We’re excited to announce that Batch 1 of Timber Botanical Rum is on sale now! Timber is a premium botanical rum. Far less harsh than than a traditional rum, Timber is a drink that appeals to a wide range of spirits drinkers.

A botanical rum takes a base rum which is then redistilled with new botanicals to make for an incredibly smooth spirit. The base Caribbean dark rum for Timber comes from Guyana, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica. Carved by nature, this is then redistilled in Aberdeenshire with a carefully selected mix of botanicals including oak bark and honey. Using local fresh water from Royal Deeside, Timber is then cut to its bottling strength of 40% ABV.

With soft notes of caramel and honey on the nose, Timber has a smooth and subtle heat. To taste, hints of toffee and hazelnut appear before a short, clean finish.

Timber was created to be a versatile spirit. It can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks or enjoy it in a signature TLC (Timber, Lime and Cola). Its versatility allows it to be the base for traditionally rum-based cocktails like mojitos and daiquiris, but also in a broad range of other cocktails too.
